Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer

Ralph P. Scozzafava joined Furniture Brands in 2007 where he currently serves as the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer.  Prior to Furniture Brands, Mr. Scozzafava worked for the Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company, where he held several executive positions, including:  Vice President, Worldwide Commerical Operations and Vice President and Managing Director, North America/Pacific.

Vance C. Johnston

Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Vance C. Johnston has been Senior Vice President  and Chief Financial Officer since 2012.  He joined Furniture Brands as Senior Vice President of Growth and Transformation in 2010.  Prior to joining Furniture Brands, Mr. Johnston held senior corporate strategy and business development roles including Vice President, Corporate Strategy at Royal Caribbean International; Vice President Corporate Strategy and Development at OfficeMax and Vice President, Operations, Services and Programs at Burger King.

Raymond J. Johnson

Senior Vice President of Global Supply Chain

Raymond J. Johnson has been the Senior Vice President, Global Supply Chain since 2009.  Prior to Furniture Brands, he worked for Newell Rubbermaid, Inc., in positions including President, Global Manufacturing and Supply Chain and Group Vice President, Manufacturing.  Mr. Johnson has also worked for General Products Division, a Business Unit of Eaton Corporation; True Temper Sports, Inc.; Technimark, Inc. and The Black and Decker Corporation.

Mary E. Sweetman

Senior Vice President of Human Resources

Mary E. Sweetman has been Senior Vice President, Human Resources since 2007. She joined Furniture Brands as Vice President, Human Resources. Prior to Furniture Brands, Ms. Sweetman worked for Monsanto Company for more than 14 years, most recently as Vice President of Human Resources, International.

 

Meredith M. Graham

Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

Meredith M. Graham has been the Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Furniture Brands since 2012.  She joined Furniture Brands as Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Secretary in 2008.  Prior to joining Furniture Brands, Ms. Graham formerly was Vice President, Associate General Counsel and Assistant Secretary at Savvis, Inc. and also served in private practice at a large regional law firm in St. Louis.

Richard R. Isaak

Vice President, Controller, Investor Relations and Chief Accounting Officer

Richard R. Isaak has been the Controller and Chief Accounting Officer since 2007.  In 2012, he also assumed Investor Relations and Treasury responsibilities.  Prior to this, Mr. Isaak worked for Panera Bread Company, most recently serving as Vice President, Controller, and Chief Accounting Officer.  Prior to this, Mr. Isaak was an auditor with Ernst & Young LLP.

Edward D. Teplitz

President of Thomasville Furniture Industries, Inc.

Edward D. Teplitz has been the President of Thomasville Furniture Industries, Inc., since 2007.  Prior to joining Thomasville, Mr. Teplitz served in various positions within Ethan Allen Interiors, Inc. including Vice President, Retail Division, and Executive Vice President of Ethan Allen Retail Inc.  Prior to this, Mr. Teplitz was an Ethan Allen licensee and worked in the corporate finance department of E.F. Hutton & Company and FLIC (USA), Inc.

Mark E. Stephens

President of Broyhill Furniture Industries, Inc.

Mark Stephens has been President of Broyhill Furniture Industries, Inc., since 2011.  Before that he was the Vice President, Sales and Marketing for Broyhill and Vice President, Customer Marketing and Category Management for Furniture Brands.  Before coming to Furniture Brands, Mr. Stephens worked for Rollins, Inc., in various positions including Assistant Division Vice President.  Prior to this, Mr. Stephens held various marketing and sales positions at Nova Information Systems, Inc. and Campbell Soup Company.

Daniel R. Bradley

President of Designer Brands Group

Daniel R. Bradley has been President of the Furniture Brands Designer Group since 2007.  Prior to joining Furniture Brands, Mr. Bradley was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Ferguson, Copeland, LTD and President of Baker Knapp & Tubbs.  Mr. Bradley also held various positions with Henredon, including Vice President/General Manager, CaseGoods Division.

Dan Masters

President of Lane Furniture Industries, Inc.

Dan Masters has been the President of Lane Furniture since 2012. He previously served as president of Hekman Furniture. Prior to this, he also held executive roles at Riverside Furniture and Flexsteel Industries, where he had extensive experience in the motion upholstery business.

Gregory P. Roy

Vice President of Business Development for Furniture Brands

Gregory P. Roy is the Vice President-Business Development for Furniture Brands. Mr. Roy worked for Lane Furniture for more than 20 years, holding positions of increasing responsibility. Mr. Roy is responsible for new business development of the company's core brands.
